So Valentines Day went without any problems this year. Sure, Melody’s main gift was only a 15 dollar plant from Vons that opens up, that the minute Melody opened it she wanted to return, but that was only the set up for an amazing night of Richard Gere and sushi with a hint of learning about Richard Gere and gerbils, which I am not afraid to admit I was the only one at work who didn’t know the connection.. (wow) … But I wanted to give the major shout out to Melody for going above and beyond to get me what I think could be the gift of the year. Now I was under the impression nothing could ever beat the 6-foot by 7-foot poster of us 3 years ago, but I was wrong. Right in front of me was a framed picture of the two zebras having sex at the zoo that I took personally over a year ago with the note “Taylor took this picture” !!! Now I will not admit whether or not I cried when I opened my gift, but I will say nothing makes a plastic flower look as bad as a picture of zebras having sex…
I want to start a show where I tell people what to make youtube videos of, then they do it, then Aaron Michael King and I just critique them and make people laugh. And why doesn’t this show exist yet? That and the Jury Duty sitcom…
I wanted to say Jeremy Lin is really good. I am not sure I wrote that before. He seems nice too. I really hope good things happen for him. I just wish Kim and Kris didn’t break up so we could see him say ” I don’t know why they boo you, that’s crap” on keeping up with the kardashians… although if they didn’t divorce would they still boo kris.. the what if game… sigh…
Chase Budinger slam dunk champion. Anthony Morrow 3-point champion. Steph Curry Skills Champion ( back to back ) and Kevin Durant is going to win All-Star game MVP..
Charlene Wong is a good crier. So jeal.
Really upset they took the two greatest presidents of all time and merged them into one holiday.. Presidents Day. Honestly how can we take Abe Lincoln and George Washington and say I know you guys did some good things, but two holidays is just too much, we need to make it one, and not only that we are going to just call it President’s Day so you can be as widely recognized with the likes of Chester Arthur and Mildred Fillmore and Martin Van Buren… How are more people not outraged.. what next, a vampire movie about Abe Lincoln??
Jorge Gutierrez you are just the greatest Cal player I ever got to see, I am going to miss you so much next year.
Lastly, just wanted to let everyone know that as of last Wednesday I have taken up the challenge to only drive the speed limit everywhere and put most of this focus for the freeway. As we were pondering sin at USC for Disciple USC, I asked myself why I don’t take the speed limit seriously. And then I asked myself why I choose which sins I am allowed to commit because they are dumb and it is more important that I keep up with the flow of traffic than obey a simple speed limit rule. And while it is true, I have found that if I am in the far right lane no one gives me dirty looks for going slow. I also realized that as I fail to submit to God in so many ways, why not take a practical way to submit my driving to Him so I can learn what it means to be more submissive and less in control of every detail. And it has been really nice, except for everyone making fun of me for being so dumb and really wanting to drive 65MPH.. ( Christians making fun of me
) … But honestly it makes me think of God more while I drive, I stopped getting mad at slow drivers ( because then I would be a hypocrite ) , I am more relaxed, and it helps me reflect more on bigger issues and how good God is. And so far so good. It takes longer to get places, but knowing I am a law-abiding citizen who doesn’t need to worry about the Cops has been good for me. And I am fully aware that I will probably get a speeding ticket within 2 weeks of this post… Just do it.

What was going to be a double post day, has due to unforseen events going to turn into what could be a 3-post day. Not more than one hour ago I learned that Grammy was being sued by Walgreens for check fraud!!@! After everything my poor Grandmother has done, and with the unfortunate history Walgreens and this blog have had over the years, I find this to be more than troubling, but a declaration of all out war. And this is not something a simple ” Hasbro apology letter” will fix. Move over Glee, because you are now the 2nd most troubling thing in the United States, just in front of the Kardashians but replaced by the evil empire that is WALGREENS! The movement we will undertake to take down the most evil corporation will not be easy, but if there is one thing we will all learn is that no one sues my Grammy without any consequences. So from this day forward I call myself and all Sexytay blog lovers to boycott Walgreens and spread the news of this injustice until Grammy is vindicated and Walgreens runs out of ways to apologize ( ie. Cruises to the Mediterranean, 1-million dollars, a private jet, and season tickets to the LA Sparks, etc…) Walgreens.. it was bad enough that you lied about the coupon for your toothpaste oh so many years ago in Berkeley, but this is an entirely new realm we have entered, and I promise an angry complaint letter to end all complaint letters coming your way in the next week.

If you read the title as it is, then yes I am, but honestly these last few days and weeks have really got me thinking about if I am the only one who trusts anything I here anymore. Am I the only one who doesn’t believe in conspiracy theories?
At work this week on the same day I had a conversation about how we already have a cure for AIDS, which wasn’t the first time I have heard that, but not an hour later I was into a debate on whether 9/11 really happened the way everyone says it happened, how Obama was born or conceived in the USA, how JFK really died, and how the NBA and NFL are fixed. And as much as I tried to rely on the facts I read about or from things I have seen, I couldn’t shake the fact that I just must be some naive 26-year-old who really does believe Obama was born in the USA, that there is integrity in athletics, and that there is no possible way any government would make it a law to make it illegal to throw a football or frisbee at the beach. And I guess I couldn’t help but think about how I felt when I learned I was lied to by Paula Deen, Tosh Lupoi, and Kim Kardashian, and whether the US government might be next. For now I will hold out on the conspiracy theories, but I am not sure how much longer.
Sara Hlebain texted me and asked for my advice. One of the best days of my life.
Happy Birthday to my mom! 50!!! Wood Ranch on Saturday should be fun. I promise if you give me one month I will get some wedding pictures to you.
Lastly, I finally jumped on a bandwagon. Everyone has been doing those things this certain groups say, and a co-worker challenged me to come up with some things Democrats and Republicans say, so we could put them on youtube for this political season. These are not the greatest videos out there, but big shout out to the man Aaron Michael King for letting me be a part of his creation and bring the people what they want.
